That's actually almost hard to answer- I mean how do you narrow it down?
First and foremost would have to be a jazz guy named Bill Ebert, from whom I took lessons for years in college and after. I hooked up with him last summer to jam a few tunes and he kicked my ass (again)- pushing 60 and playing better than ever. You just never catch up.
Jerry and Bob of course. In some ways I find myself trying to be both of them at once when playing Dead tunes. Now there's a formidable challenge. Needless to say, I fail miserably.
Rory Gallagher would be in the top five.
Tal Farlow is another in the top five.
But wait, there's more! Jorma Kaukonen. And Richard Thompson.
Those are the main guys I have found myself trying to emulate. I won't put some guys on the list because they are part of the musical landscape and influence all of us: Clapton, Hendrix, Page, Richards, guys like that.

In the beginning
Jorma,his playing of Gary Davis tunes was the reason I started playing guitar
Alvin Lee for his version of I'm ging home at woodstock was just pure rock and roll energy
Duane Allman The Fillmore East show, in particular his slide guitar on You don't love me. The only 8 track I ever bought twice because I wore it out.
After a few years it was Jerry on top of that list where he still remains.
Kimock has given me many a Jerry moment in this century.
Finally I gotta mention Bromberg cause he's so much fun to watch play.
