I agree, but I don't have another source so I am not gonna copy the version off "SMR" box set. If I had a copy of the show from the archive or elswhere I'd have no problem copying it.

My favorite has to be 77-03-19 Eyes->Dancin'

and the same combo for 77-02-26 is smoking too.

There are a lot of grate Eyes in 77 but imho these are to two best.

Is that the Springfield show? If it's the one I'm thinking of I'd have to agree wholeheartedly. also the Scarlet>Fire from that show is out of this world. Jerry just roars out the 'Well there ain't nothin' wrong' coming out of the bridge. And the jam btwn the two kicks ass as well.

Which is also a smoking show, but no Eyes.

It's a song that I love right off of 'Wake of the Flood'! That intro of Jerry's and the bass rideout of Phil's at the end...

Another great one is from 8/1/73 a jerry b-day show. I believe part of that show can still be downloaded from nugs.net The dark star and the eyes are worth the download.

The version of Eyes from without a net is great, and i always really liked the one from the GD movie. I have to say tho, I was at a Ratdog show 10-26-06 at promowest and they played eyes and to be honest, i dont kno if i have ever been more into the song, they did it fucking great, and the new guitarist playin with Bobby is fantastic

+1 for Englishtown.

And I'll add my personal fave Red Rocks 7/8/78. Jerry plays some great, inventive leads, one of the best versions. Very melodic

Granted a '74 eyes is about as good as it gets, I would put the eyes played at the spectrum on 11/05/79 right up there. It stands right along the the iko>dew>sugar mags from rochester 9/2/80 as the my personal favorite moments from shows or at least what I remember.

'74 had the best Eyes and China/Riders IMO. Both orignal to their respective years.

I definitely agree with '74 being as good as it gets, but any version of Eyes will get me going.
