Thanks! Upon further inspection, however, I noticed it wasn't a hardtail. Any tremolo besides a Bigsby is a sworn enemy of mine.

I looked at this one at $499 and thought that might be a bit much...buy it now price of $350 seems like a pretty good deal.

The Uncle Matt guitars come in a variety of flavors. They all should be fine guitars, but make sure the specs are to your liking. Some have 22 frets, others have 24. Scale lengths and wood composition vary too.

I've owned a number and have never been disappointed. The stock MMK pickups are impressive too, although with this crowd, they won't last long.

That eBay vendor in Japan has a second Rev Sound on his site as well. For an extra 100. It's the 750 model. I've got one. They are killer guitars. That's a sweet deal. So is the Rev Sound 600. Both guitars would be plug and play.

That Vantage is nice as well. If you wanted humbuckers rather than Alembic style single coils.

The pups in the Rev Sound series are very hi-fi like. You would be hard pressed to get the same tones out of a current after market single coil.

Peace,

James
