Yes it was but when I reached out to Alembic they wanted 2100 dallors just for the inlay. I found a great guy who was able to make a really close copy to the design for a hellalot less money. But yes the idea for for having that as an inlay came from the Alembic site.

Eyes was cool enough to bring his geetar to a TJ gig and let me play it for a set !
Great guitar that was fun to play
Very heavy - 13lbs I think he said - but it hung nice on the strap
The neck had a Les Paulish feel to it ; slim at the nut ; fretboard played nice and the action was low
It has a great clean sound - nice n full and not overly trebly like my geetar .....
I kept it the middle position - well duh - but bounced it between the single coils n humbuckers .....
When Eyes sat in with the band - He played Eyes of all things ! - it was cool to hear my rig from the audience side of things .... he did a great job too !

The Inlay is a of mountain in Nepal called Ama Dablam.I know, cause I've climbed it! Google for Ama Dablam and check out photos of it! Nice guitar!
