also you will have much better edges if you glue all you layers up, then joint the edges 90 degrees square to the top or or bottom . make sure you user the same side to register the 90 degrees. no matter flat your clamping is,when you glue 11 layers of wood together it will not be flat afterwards. also your neck layers are .25 maple .25 purpleheart x 2 and .75 x 2 for the outside maple. After you cut your neck assembly you will find your guitar plays much better, if you mark the end of the fretboard ,then cut 2 degrees neck angle into the neck from that point. you will avoid having to sit your pickups a mile off the body.

I made a mistake in my last post, the PH core I used is 3/4" not 1".
