Somehow the setlist only took us to 1:20 so we took requests from the crowd.
It's a rarity that we got everything in as planned---usually we end up cutting something out instead.

It was like pulling teeth from a disgruntled camel to get it to happen and a still had a guy or two trying to discourage it... it's SUCH a mellow song and could easily kill a bar crowd but this setting was about as perfect for it as we were going to see in a long time, it's been a living room favorite for me for several months.
Didn't come off that great either- think the Dead's Woodstock version, or worse. Always bodes ill when the lead guitarist accidentally starts a song a half-step sharp and has to scramble-slide down a fret immediately...

The rest went basically OK though, and I surprised myself by getting nearly all the lyrics right. The really odd thing about that tune is that the guitar solo comes at the very
beginning of the song.
Slipknot> Pocky = brilliant!

Those camels like to keep their teeth don't they?
It's always been one of my favorite Jerry tunes for sure. It is a hard tune to pull off in a bar but, people do Stella and others, so why not. Nice one there on the half-step sharpness---I'm sure that got folks' attention.
The H>S>Pocky was pretty cool. We had a nice segue there that I concocted that blasted right into it.
We learned Ship of Fools last night and I lobbied again for doing High Time as well.
We'll just have to distribute some energy drinks (or maybe some sedatives) to the crowd before that set.
