How bad is it for the amp/pickup to feedback? I've recently discovered how fun it is to use to add the ultimate amount of tension and want to know if it's "safe". The dead did it almost every night in the late 60s, but I don't know.

im no tech but i highly doubt you would mess anything up besides maybe your speakers at extreme volumes, and that may even take awhile. Or maybe ive just never heard of that happenning to anyone i know lol but that awesome controllable feedback is such a useful tool Id still do it even if i knew it was costing me
