Best wishes Thomas. I am sorry I never got the scratch together to get an original Garcia styled guitar from you, it was something I always wanted, and still do. At this time in my life I just can't afford it... that and all the other gear I have needed has taken a front seat since I can make these instruments work that I own now. I Know you will do really well, you are super talented and know your stuff. The first meeting should be about how and when to design a Gibson Leiber Garcia. Are you going to move to Memphis? In that case I may cross paths with you someday, since I travel there every so often.

I can picture you looking at that Bieber les paul and hanging your head down and shaking it. Thinking WTF am I making the finest instruments for when gibson can put out a beiber guitar and make millions?

Jackr, I think he posted something on his facebook about taking a job in the big guitar manufacturing sector. I heard that second hand, that could be a rumor.

Jackr is pretty right on as far as this post! But there is also some truth in my considering offers. One is in Europe which I’m real excited about checking out, the other one here in the US. But back to this post, I saw this guitar and my head exploded!!!! This is what my art has become? Les’s face was never even featured on his own F’in instrument !!!!

I would love if someone on this forum could Photoshop Biebers face on the front of my Gigerstein, that would be very awesome!!!!

Thomas, I know it's damn depressing that a kid like that is tarnishing that instrument. The other side of the coin is that there are more great guitars available now than there ever have been (mostly without a picture of some pop-star kid on them). You are a big contributor to the good part of the guitar world. There has always been a lot of cheesy crap painted onto guitars and some works of art and a lot in between. While it is depressing, take heart there are still those out there that appreciate quality.

The economy sucks for everyone. I lost my high paying job and now work a part time job, give guitar lessions and play music to make ends meet. Life kinda sucks career wise for everyone in one way or another. I have to say though, my standard of living is pretty much the same, I just don't consume like a moron anymore. Can't wait till gas is $5 a gallon.
