When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Well hot damn, didn't mean to piss anyone off....I just think that proliferating MP3s is not a great idea. If you trade the lossless file, you can always make mp3s from it for your Ipod or other mp3 player, but not vice versa. Trading mp3s is like the new school version of using a low bias cassette from Radio Shack instead of the XL-IIs; the recording is forever degraded.

I didn't make the original comment about cutting drumz, but I thought it was funny when I read it and thats how I meant it.

Peace

Checked it out and... Melvin Seals is on tour with at least two bands right now. Cast of Clowns at the WOW on Friday, Crazy Engine on 30 Oct at McDonald. Double dose sounds about right. Saw both bands last time they were in Eugene, though I hear Melvin was here for the Eugene Celebration while I was not.

Down Boy! I love inspiring fierce loyalty!
My comments were to be taken with a grain of salt as well but I WOULD like to learn how to improve the quality of digital shows. I am on itunes and everything just kind of becomes an mp3 automatically. How do you do it different?

I'm looking for Jerry with Merl these days. Boards only please.

As far as what I am listening to...I just listened to the first Furthur show from 9/18 twice through and all I can say is, it's worth a 3 hour drive but not much more. Atlanta Fox theater in 2010?

As far as what I will be listening to...Tomorrow night in Nashvegas the Allman Bros and Widespread panic (my first panic show)
Then I will be seeing these shows-

For the longest time I only traded SHN/FLAC.

Now I only trade in MP3s. I don't have the time to convert to MP3, tag, rename, etc.

The music is archived out there somewhere in a lossless format and I have at least 500 shows in SHN/FLAC and I'm guessing that with the microcosm here at RUKIND we probably have 10% of the GD's live shows available in lossless format so I am not worried.

Just in case you didn't know, I'm pretty sure that's the show with Pete Townsend playing on at least Lovelight, if not another tune or two. I also think Bobby was given a guitar by Pete whch he's used since at that show.

I was not aware of that. I don't hear him on the lovelight but he could very well be there. It is also possible that you are thinking of the AMAZING show from 1981-03-28 in essen germany, where pete sits in with them for NFA, warf rat and i believe maybe around and around. That show also contains my personal favorite althea, and LLR.
