If any of you are familiar with downloading shows using nugs.net, then you know what the nugster is. it's the software that lets you download the shows. It currently isnt working on my computer, for reasons unknown.

It is possible to just click one of the songs and download it, I know. But how? Everytime I click a song, it just streams. I only know how to use the nugster to download, and it is broken. I just wanna get some stuff on a cd before copyright laws take down nugs, too.

Please, any help?

Nugs.net might have locked DL capability similar to archive only allowing streaming of SBDs now. Whenever I use nugs now, I only stream the shows. That would be my guess. I bet if GD put the lockdown on archive, nugs followed suit either by choice or requirement.

well no, I don't think that's the case. I see where you're coming from though. I was downloading shows on nugs up untill abou a week ago, which was much later than the archive incident. they still leave the option for you to download shows, too. but whenever i use my computer to try and DL, the nugtser pops up with a big white blank box inside. However, I tried this at my Dad's house, and when I'm over there, the nugster works fine. I was told in an e-mail from someone at nugs that if you clicked the song, it would download.

There is a setting in your web browser that you need to change. If you are using firefox go to Tools on the menu bar -> Options -> Downloads -> View and edit actions -> Double click on MP3 and select "save them on my computer.

Dump it now for fewer heartaches, firefox is the way to go or Opera.

Might also want to consider vining, no as fast as dl but a whole lot more shows!
