That entire run became one giant sandwich of Bill's all-time favorite song: open 10/27/91 w/Sugar Magnolia, and close the Laughter,Love and Music memorial concert on 11/03/91 w/Sunshine Daydream!

10/27 was the only night I didn't make it inside. 10/31 was off the hook!

I just picked up "Truckin up to Buffalo" for some fresh digital Dead. "Row Jimmy" is one of the smoothest I remeber hearing. Also "Walkin blues" is simply awesome.Jerry and Bobs voacals were great on this one, with lots of energy behind them. Haven't listened much to second disk, dam things starts scratching and skipping half way through. Bummer.

I just slipped in a request at work to have flash player installed while my computer was being renamed (never knew it's name). And then I went to Wolfgang's Vault. I listened to a great Traffic show and then a Hot Tuna Show. I know I should have dates and places but I don't think there were a lot of either band's concerts on there, they were both early 70s.
I was so late to get to etree.org and download Dead shows that I only got a handful of SBDs before they were removed. Oh well, I did get a great AUD - Market Square Arena, Indianapolis, IN. February 3, 1979, recently.

Last night I watched the DVD of Freebird The Movie.

It is mainly the set Skynyrd did at Knebworth 1976.

Still can not understand why they put in a different performance of Freebird as the Knebworth one was phenomenal. Nearly spoils the whole thing... nearly!!

I am right now listening to some Sufjan Stevens. Any of you cats dig on him? My buddy just got me into this guy and he is amazing. Any of you folks looking for something new, you should check his stuff out...Illinois for instance is a great album. The song Chicago from Little Miss Sunshine is on it.
