I'd probably take Victim out of your worst list and place it around #7 or 8 or so. The most psychedelic song of the final 15 years of the band imho.

Would definitely include Weather Report Suite, probably at around #3 or 4,

and raise Other One up to the top 3. Although much of that song's greatness is through the ensemble play, it takes something very special to bring out the intensity and variety of improvisation that it did.

I'm ready for a Picasso Moon slam soon enough...

But hear the irony of the hating against that song

-- vs --

Jerry's obvious appreciation cuz he always seems to
kick it up a notch with that number!

Also, strangely, he had a hug love affair with Day Job
that so many people hated as well... Hmmmmmm

True, he was usually working it pretty stongly during this tune

Heaven Help The Fool hands down for me.

The question is will I get slammed for that choice?

The HHTF album is one of my desert island discs btw.

1. I think the struggle over OMSN was the straw that broke Hunter's back, and he told Weir to take solo writing credit despite his contributions and famously said "You want him? Take him, he's yours," to Barlow.

2. Big River was written by Johnny Cash, El Paso by Marty Robbins, Mama Tried by Merle Haggard, and Uncle by Kris Kristofferson.

3. What's the story on Little Star? Never heard it.

3. Didn't Phil write Passenger?
