Bob,Bill,Mickey,and Phil approach you and say, "hey, we want to do a summer tour. We can't agree on who we want to join our band and where to play. So we decided to pick one fan to plan our band line-up and get our tour together. You are that fan"

Here is my line-up for MY ultimate reunion. This band is a little too big but I think it would rock!

Bill (drums)

Mickey Drums, No vocals!)

Bob (rhythm and vocals)

Phil (bass and vocals)

Mark Karan (lead and vocals)

Bruce Hornsby (only on grand piano and vocals, He has to leave his accordian at home)

Melvin seals (hammond b2 and other electric pianos)

Gloria and Jackie (vocals)

They would play in small arena's for multiple nights. (ex, 3 night runs at filmore and hampton) The only BIG shows will not be in stadiums but in places like Alpine Valley, Red rocks, The gorge (sp) ect.

WELL NOW....if we're in FANTASY land...

That's it! I love Bruce, but all I NEED is Smilin' Melvin!!!

The venues would be: Hampton Coliseum, Mellon Arena (my hometown, so all my friends could come see me jam w/ these guys!), a private show in Potter County, Pennsylvania and one big one in the Summer at Rich Stadium in Buffalo, as that is THE best sounding GD Stadium show(s) I ever attended.

The sound systems used by GD in 1989 - 1993 would be a MUST, as well.

FINALLY....here's the setlist I choose:

but honestly id rather just see ratdog...they are better than any reunion would be...phil wants to jam every song for 15 minutes/ bob wants to play them well...two different approaches so the chemistry is a little off

And to comment on what DocWatson said . . . . I feel Bobby/Ratdog jams have moved way into jazz fusion whereas Phil at least seems to hold onto the melody of the tunes more.
