That's what I am talking about Pig  . I never heard of any of them. Thank goodness for the internet. Always love the blues Master Jedi 8) thanks. I am fairly well rounded in my musical interest. I just got done with my yearly Frank Black kick. It was very fun while it lasted.

GOOD question! although I'm not so sure your selections 1.,3. and 5. are totally jam-free! I know the Jackmormons drummer Brad; he sometimes plays GD stuff with the Garcia Birthday Band here in PDX. Dig the Drive-Bys, our soundguy at Goodfoot always plays them.

not in any order:
1. Clutch
2. White Stripes/Jack White
3. My Morning Jacket
4. Black Keys
5. Feist

ok, so my middle three were pretty jammy too... but not quite classifiable as "Jam".

1. RICHMOND FONTAINE.

(in no order)
Son Volt/Jay Farrar solo
Ryan Adams
Drive By Truckers
Marah
Smog
The Sadies
Wilco
Blue Rodeo
The Tragically Hip

Okay, I gave you 10 there. Now get listening....

+1 !! Can't believe I didn't include them... brilliant pop/folksters, but again jams, some very HEAVY WEIRD jams are a feature of this band.
