I actually like a good bit of brent tunes. Sunrise is a little much for me. my fav's are

1.blow away
2. a little light
3. Long way to go home
4. Far from me
5. Tons of steel (yeah I actually like that song :P )
6. I will take you home
7. Samba

Some brent songs where a little too much for me like easy to love you. but when in the right mood I can dig most of them.

It Must have been the Roses, written by Robert Hunter

Astroman.....Robert Hunter wrote that majority of the GD catolog as you may know.

I personlly consider Hunter as an orginally member of the band...

Anyone else?

Actually he co-wrote all the classics, but It must have been the Roses is written only by him , no additional writing credit is given to anyone else(JG)
If someone checks, I think Mickey joined the band way before Hunter penned any lyrics for them.

Well if we count hunter solo efforts. My number 1 changes to Easy Wind.
