Yeah, I am not really a fan of Larry Campbell's leads. They all tend to be very blues based and not as melodic as Id like to see. I mean it works with some songs, like Deal, which sounds great using pentatonics but Id love to see him try to solo to something like Crazy Fingers or Mission in the Rain using his style.

The highlight of the show is when MK comes out for the encore. I can immediately tell the difference, with his highly melodic playing. But what Im even more psyched about is that Bobby and Ratdog are coming to the Palace Theater in Albany, NY. Which is a great nice small venue. I saw Moe there once but I was disappointed by them. Bobby on the other hand . . . .should be a great show. I get to see Phil and Bobby this fall. Sweet.

I really like the set list, great songs all over (The Weight and Hard Rain are one of my favorite songs of all the time), and for what i heard of it i'm really surprised: Sounds great

Captain, just so you know, it was announced that Kimock is going to continue playing w/ Ratdog for the fall tour while MKII recouperates (sp?).

Thanks for the info shakedown. Im a huge MK fan, but he does need time to rest. But Kimmock is a great player too. But truth be told what Id like to see is Ratdog with Jimmy Herring.
