I said the same thing 2016 was supposed to be no more pedals as well but EHX keep putting out clever ones and the Mel 9 is pretty solid for size and price.

I am committed hook line and sinker though to this also new EHX dandy which will be unquestionably hitting my pedal board - the Lester K a Leslie rotary speaker simulator

Wow! I thought I was done purchasing gear for a while as well, but this thing is insane. I just ordered one! I'm looking forward to using those horn sounds in a funk project I'm playing in right now. Some really cool sounds for getting spacey jams going as well, without going the midi route. It appears to do well with chords too.
