Hey all, I have decided to sell my P-Bass as I don't really use it and could use the $$. It's a 73 neck and I think a 74 body. It's a player not a museum piece. The electronics were replaced in the late 70s early 80s and a Badass bridge and new tuners were installed. It has been restored back to original using Fender parts (I did not do this work but it was all done by one of the best repair guys out there). The parts are all Fender Custom Shop parts (pickups, bridge, tuners). It sounds fantastic and plays great - it's got LaBella flats on it now. The action is set a little high but I'd be happy to set it up however you want. It's in great intonation and stays in tune. It was also painted white when this other work was done (I think it was originally brown and was stripped back in the 80s). I bought this from our old bass player 10 years ago or so.
This is the only pic I have of it right now. When I get home tonight I'll take some more and post them. As I said, she's not in perfect shape but not abused either. If you want a workhorse, this is it.

It has a ton of cool blues mojo in it. Steve, my old roommate and our old bass player, bought this bass new in 1974. He gigged with a lot of great old blues players - Otis Rush, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Billy Boy Arnold, among others. He used it on this session which I believe was Junior Wells last recording:
$1,400 plus you pay shipping comes with a gig bag.
