I play it here
e---
b--7-
g--5-
d--7-
a--6-
E---
It's the same as the one that's in the book which is this
e-2--
b-1--
g-2--
d-1--
a---
E---
I play the full run from the Ab to the G like this
--May lady...
--Ab-Ao7-Ebmaj7-Dmaj7-Dbmaj7-Db7-Dbmaj7-Gsus4-G
e--4-------6------5-----4-----4----4------3---3-
b--4--7----8------7-----6-----6----6------3---3-
g--5--5----7------6-----5-----4----5------5---4-
d--6--7----8------7-----6-----6----6------5---5-
a--6--6----6------5-----4-----4----4----
E--4-------------------------------------(3)-(3)-
Those 2 positions for the dim 7th can kinda daisy chain up the neck voicing different inversions of the same notes. Definitely some theory goin on with that.
e-2---5---8----11----14---
b-1-4-4-7-7-10-10-13-13---
g-2-2-5-5-8--8-11-11-14---
d-1-4-4-7-7-10-10-13-13---
a---3---6----9----12------
Something having to do with perfect or equal intervals in the diminished scale I believe.
Maybe someone with more theory knowledge than me can elaborate.
Of course a hedgehog has more theory knowledge than me,
