This Dark Star is the most organic I've heard; it evolves with something like "mathematical inevitability" and moves with a sense direction. The jams are top notch, culminating/climaxing with what I've heard called a "Tighten Up" jam, which may be the final time they ever played it (Tighten Up), and it makes sense as I can imagine the band understanding this execution as unsurpassable.

This Dark Star is what I've have someone who'd never heard the Dead before listen to.
