Anyone else still use them? I’ve got a pair of Princeton Reverb builds... one 6V6 and the other 6L6. I grabbed a second and now both amps are in combo cabs. Feeling pretty settled at that volume level.

franklins_timmy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 8:52 amI actually have a Fat Jimmy A1260, which is probably pretty damn close to the C1270. While its a very nice speaker in its own right, its not a K120 replacement in my opinion. The K120 and K130 just have something else going on with that clean tone.caspersvapors wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 10:54 am Wondering also. Check out the Fat Jimmy C1270 speaker. Was looking for something to get me close to that Garcia territory without having to go the JBL route. I grabbed one & am happy with it. Another member on here sent me a couple back-to-back sound samples he made comparing the FJ C1270 to JBL K120... to me they are suprisingly close. Happy to pass the sound clips along if you message me your email.

The TT Purple Haze is rated at 40 watts. Personally, I'd be scared to use a speaker rated at only 40 watts.Geez how powerful are your amps man
