The original BYOC Phase Royal was pretty much agreed to have been "not their best effort". They are releasing for beta testing the revised version which should be much better. I see that it will have an input for an expression pedal.... hmmmm. Something we should keep an eye on? Waldo?

Here's a demo of the prototype from 9 months ago. We were very close to releasing it, but then I decided that it absolutely needed a rate expression pedal input, so there was some redesign. It will look and function exactly like it does in the demo, it just has an expression pedal jack now. Here's a pic of what the enclosure will look like.

So far we've got 4-stage JFET, 8-stage JFET, 4-stage OTA, 8-stage OTA, and 4-stage optocoupler modules. The beta kits are only coming with 4-stage JFET modules. We'll be working on adding a 4-stage incandescent bulb module and maybe a 2-stage JFET (phase45) module.
