Greetings all. 
I'm 65 and have been playing guitar in front of people since I was 16. When I was in Chicago in the late 70s I saw the Dead live for the first time at the Uptown Theater where I firsthand experienced what a band could do in a large room with their sound. I was in a band called Radio Free Illinois and we covered Jack Straw, China Rider, Scarlet Begonias, Not Fade Away/GDTRFB.
I hope I can connect with people in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area through here.
