Howdy everyone!

I've been been playing guitar for 25 years, and known of Jerry for a long time, and I especially loved the Old and In The Way tunes with Vassar Clements, but I never got "bit by the bug" so to say with The Grateful Dead. That was, until I saw Dead and Company this summer in Bristow, VA.

There's an interview where Mayer says that these bands just find you when you're ready, and that's exactly how I feel... and now I'm hooked. I run an online guitar school - https://guitargate.com - and a YouTube channel, and I'm starting to add dead lessons and live reaction / learning videos.

Please let me know any lessons, reactions, or anything else dead realated you'd like to see!! Bring it on!!

So far I've done these 2:
"Morning Dew" Winterland '74: [youtube]https://youtu.be/Lcd4tsY9WZo[/youtube]
"They Love Each Other" 6/28/19: [youtube]https://youtu.be/hlsosGWe4MM[/youtube]

All the best,

Michael

Welcome. I watched your Morning Dew clip just a few days ago and really loved it. That Morning Dew (and the whole jam->Dark Star that precedes it) has always been one of, if not my absolute favorite pieces of GD music.

The bbcode around here doesn't like the youtu.be format, preferring just the video identifier (?)

It's just those last 11 alphanumeric characters that identify each video, in this case Lcd4tsY9WZo
Pasting that inbetween the [youtube][/youtube] inserts it.

This also came up on my suggested videos on the tube, I don't play guitar but certainly watch a ton of Dead videos. Being "bit by the bug" ie. "Getting on the bus" , probably one of the coolest things being able to see it happen. There's no going back now. I look forward to seeing more of your vids in the future!
