Howdy all -

I'm doing some deep research into Jerry's tone. When using the forum search functionality, i frequently see posts from a few years ago containing the information I'm looking for. When clicking on 'jump to post' link I simply get the message 'The requested topic does not exist.'

Is there something else I should be doing when searching?

Thanks!

I don't believe there is anything you can do. Unfortunately some of the material was purged. It's odd that it shows up in searches when you can't actually get to the old thread.

Midyear the forum experienced some trouble. The forum owners made some decisions and took actions along with some individuals removing all their content. The end result was links broken from the search. Which is horrible.

However, if it shows up in the search, the content is still there. The search will tel you:
- thread title
- forum
- date

Go to the forum, scroll back pages by dates, and look for the thread title. Not perfect, but it works.
