Not really sure where this belongs (which category). "what's new" seems as good as any other place. Anyways, I've been doing Garage Band for a couple of years now. I have about 95 original songs. I'll call them jams because A) I don't own a microphone yet and while many of them DO have lyrics, none of them have been recorded and B) I am really bad at using the drum track, though I'm getting better. Hardest thing so far has been figuring out how to change a beat. Like do a roll, then switch up the drumming for a bridge or chorus for example. I'll get there in another year or two. BUT.... I finally have decided that a couple of these are at least good enough to put up as to not embarrass myself. I am VERY critical of my own music and trust me, I realize this shit can get redundant and primitive. But it has it's moments which is the one and only reason that I still attempt to play the guitar: for those 30 seconds out of every five minutes where I say to myself, "wow, that is pretty cool". Though much of it is cheese. I am just going to throw them up here, warts and all. Keep in mind, the list goes from, first try to last one created. That is, THESE VIDEOs.... The songs have been sitting in my i-tunes as I record and I have a list of the ones that I feel are decent. Also those that are unfinished or just foul balls for lack of a better term. Though as the drums get better, I will continue to try and improve. Plus I obviously have new ones inside me and plenty of old ones that need to be re-recorded after sitting on cassette for nearly 30 years. Wow, it took me that long to get it together! LOL and a big "Ha-ha".

So, without further ado (pun intended), here humbly is my personal music. 100% original. I play everything except where listed and as always, the drums are from Apple/Garage Band so they can get cheesy at times. Feedback is encouraged please. Critisize all you like, just try not to get too rude. I have a very fragile ego and can be super insecure about my own stuff. Believe me, I can relate 110% to all those artists who turn to drugs when off stage, but have no problem creating on stage or in the studio where I can hide behind that certain something and get it just right. I think of people like Harry Nilsson. Brian Wilson. Janis. Hendrix. I AM NOT AT ALL comparing my music to these folks, only the drugs that brought them courage. I've been there and when my band was going strong back in the mid 1980s, I needed plenty of drink and drugs to give me the confidence to walk on to a stage in front of a few hundred people. In other words, I know what it's like to have HORRIBLE stage fright. So..... here I at least have the annonomousity (spelling, but you know what I mean), to stick these songs up for the entire world to hear and risk being judged.
I hope at least a few of you enjoy these and "get" the music. I'll continue to add on this page as I create more. Thanks:
