What an amazing, generational talent. I saw him back in the mid 70's at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach. When the show was scheduled to end, he wanted to keep playing. The venue eventually turned the power off. Hunter came off the stage with his acoustic guitar, invited everyone to sit in a big circle on the floor, and he sat in the middle and kept playing for us. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on for decades.

May The Four Winds Blow You Safely Home.
