It was a great night for a great cause. There we're about 120 people there, and we raised over $2500 for Bruce and his family.
The 2001 jam was awesome, it clocked in at about 15 minutes!!!!

Actually Phish covered Deodato's arrangement of Richard Strauss' "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (sometimes referred to as "2001"). Deodato is a Brazilian musician whose funky version of the song won the 1973 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and went to number 2 in the pop charts in the US and No. 7 in the UK. The song was on Deodato’s debut album, Prelude, which sold more than 5,000,000 and won numerous year-end jazz polls in 1973.
