I really enjoyed being on the bus this tour in 1989 when Bobby opened up for Jerry. It was a great atmosphere with a lot of buzz in the air. Plus I never heard Weir play acoustic live. Both Bob and Jerry were on fire.

Glad that it's being released.

I think its a shame that they have a tendency to always feature the east coast on much of these type of releases. Maybe they don't and it just seems that way to me. I did a lot of this tour also and the back to back Alpine Valley/Poplar Creek shows were two of the best I saw. That's also my neighborhood so maybe Im a bit biased. Very excited to get this either way. Jerry was at the top of his game during this tour and Weir's acoustic sets were fantastic. What was really cool was the fact that when Bob was doing his set, Jerry could be seen off to the side watching. And vice versa when Jer was on stage. Pretty cool after 20+ years of making music together.
