We are a full band including: 2 guitarists, bass, 2 drummers, keyboardist and lead vocalist who's voice is similar to PigPen's. We are looking strictly for a singer who knows lyrics to GD songs where Jerry is singing. Male or female is fine--just looking for a buttery voice to capture the sweetness and emotion of songs such as BirdSong, Peggy-O, Stella Blue etc. During Bobby and Pigpen songs we could use you as a competent back-up singer.
Band has been together for a little over a year--we practice about twice a month. Located on Chicago's southside (Beverly/Evergreen Park area) Our current repertoire is about 45+ GD songs. Haven't really played any bar gigs yet (due to Covid) but we've played some block parties.
