I have always thought that the best way to become a good musician is to learn when the brain is young aka when your a child. A friend of mine has been playing piano since he was four and now he is 19 and the kid can rip it up on the sucker. He isn't extremely techinical but that doesn't stop him from being good. Unfortunately my parents aren't very artistic in nature so they never thought get me music lessons or anything when I was a kid. C'est la vie...
