I've looked up about 30 tabs for Box of Rain, and I've yet to find one with the chord progression for the solo included (Though I have found a few with the guitar solo done note for note)

I've tried my best to figure it out, though I'm still missing a few chords. This is what I have so far.

G |G |A |Em |C |A (minor?) | D |D |

G |G |A |Em |? |D |Em |A....|

If anybody could fill me in on the missing chord, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if there are any mistakes (Me having a chord as major instead of minor or anything like that) please let me know.

Here's the solo:
G Am Em
Just a box of rain, wind and water,
C A D
Believe it if you need it, if you don't, just pass it on
G Am Em
Sun and shower, wind and rain,
C D Em A
In and out the window like a moth before a flame.

I should have guessed it would be that part

Thank you very much

Well I could be wrong cause I haven't spent a huge amount of time with this one (my bad) but the one time I ventured in this direction I thought the lead was over the 'just a box of ...' verse

G-------------------Am-------Em
Just a box of rain, wind and water,
--C----------------A----------------D
Believe it if you need it, if you don't, just pass it on
G---------------Am-------Em
Sun and shower, wind and rain,
C---------------D------------Em------------A
In and out the window like a moth before a flame.

like I said I could be wrong but to check I just played along and it seems right.

Any other ideas?

jdarks has a slightly different take

G Am Em
Just a box of rain, wind and water.
C A D
Believe it if you need it, if you don't, just pass it on.
G Am Em
Sun and shower, wind and rain,
G D
in and out the window,
Em A
like a moth before a flame

He's throwing a G after the Em. Listening to American Beauty is it a G or C? Both ways work but which one is right?
