My band plays it as:
C#m____________A___________E
Commissars and pin-striped bosses roll the dice
______________Bm____A_______________E______________E!D!
Any way they fall guess who gets to pay the price.
E_______________A____________E
Money green or proletarian gray,
________Bm_______________A
Selling guns instead of food today.
One difference:

________D_______________A
Selling guns instead of food today.

It does the same thing on both bridge parts

Boy, am I with you on this. I thought the Samson riffs were the ultimate lazy copout. Gee, what can we do that's easy and concise for the album? OK, now we're too lazy to use our imaginations anymore, let's just do the album version. I went from loving the tune to it being a bathroom break song. And forget trying to get anyone to play it the original way.
