Here's how I play it.

--A--

e--------------------------------
B-----------------------------------------2-----
G----------------2---------2---------2---------2--
D-------------2---------2---------2---------2-----
A---------0--------------------0------------------0-
E-0-2-4------------0-------------------0----------
You can pretty much repeat this pattern throughout with a little tweaking here and there. It's a very basic finger picking pattern (it would have to be for me to pull it off).

I'm sure it can be (and has been) jazzed up a bit but this is a good starting point.

I flat pick the alternating bass line and finger pick the other notes (other notes are in red).

If you have some issues getting started just concentrate on the bass line and after getting that down try adding in the notes in red.

Hope this helps.

Any more tips for picking this one ?
Not really - I know for me it took quite a while to get the alternating bass thing going to where I really don't think about it. That was the biggest obstacle - I could probably do a quick vid, but I'm not sure how much seeing it will help. Gonna tweak the tab a bit - some of the notes are pretty close to one another and maybe not the easiest to see where they fit.

I'd also say go real slow at first - but try to keep time.

Are the bass notes on beat 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ?
My ring finger is a piece of dead meat , also.
:-)
lol!!!

well the open A and open E seem to be on the beat and the E on the D string is offbeat.
