Here's the intro in the vid - This is my take on the later jg intro.

e------------------------------------
b------------------1/2-2--1/2-1/2--
g-----2-------2---------------------
d--1/2-2-1p0-------1/2-2--1/2-1/2--
a-----------3---0-------0--------0-
e-----------------------------------

I'm actually partial to the way I see the late 70's intro.

e---------------------------------
b-----------------1/2-2--1/2-1/2--
g-----0-2--------------------------
d--1/2---1p0------1/2-2--1/2-1/2--
a-----------3--0-------0--------0-
e---------------------------------

You just keep getting better. Sounding pretty comfy playing this stuff. Are those PJ's you are wearing? You aced the leads, kept right on beat the whole way. What modes are you playing the main and ending solo in? Let me know when you get a gig in Baltimore. I've taken a hiatus from the jerry stuff the last month to work on my Jorma stuff but will be absorbing all these fine vids you've been posting shortly. GO BLUE

Yup. :-) That may be where the 'comfy' comes in. tehe - Though while I feel this one is much more in my vocal range it's not easy with all the pull ups and walk ups. Was a lttle rough.

I can not tell a lie. Finally broke down and used my metronome. Glad i did. Worked great.

Verse

A -- A Mixolydian* - (flat 3rd (C note) works as well)

D -- D Mixolydian - (flat 3rd (F note) works as well)

Em - E Dorian*

Bm - B Aeolian*

A -- A Mixolydian*

G -- G Lydian*

Fm - F Pyrygian*

Em - E Dorian*

D -- D Mixolydian

* All the same notes (A-B-C#-D-E-F#-G)

While I think these are the modes I'd say this is one of those where from the Em to Em less tends to be more. Ya know?

End lead

Depending on emphasis given I pretty much bounce around between:

D blues - using minor or major 3rd as I see fit
and
D Mixolydian

A bunch of chromo's here as well

hello,

can you please post the tablature of the little riff you do between dminor and aminor on the verses? I know its simple but I am a beginner ad it would really help round out my attempts at this song. thank you!!!
