I am getting ready to play "Help" with a band soon and was wondering if anybody has those chords down yet for the "Poised for flight" section?

Its been a while since anybody discussed them. Any new Ideas? Thanks

Awesome, man, Thanks....I am slowly gtting a simplified version of my own....

Am I the only one who has trouble playing the "poised for flight..." part of the song?

Not to sound harsh but why bother playing the song if you need to simplify it? The part you are mentioning is a breeze compared to Slipknot!

Same melody line that PeteB so nicely posted, just leans a bit more on chord shapes to convey the melody. And after the first three note deal that picks out the Fm the next 2 seem to not be that at all. I always thought they were all the same Fm thing but after careful viewing I think jg did what I've posted above...fwiw...

i need advise on this part...i like to play it with single notes...this is what i have so far

This is the part i'm having trouble with, its the part that finishes before they go back into the verse parts...

During the the verses there's really not a whole lot going on there. They just strum out the chord. If you want a sample lick say like what is played there during the lead here's a little deal-

B----------8-----------8
G----8--10---10--8--10
D-10------------

You can bend the 10 to the 12 on the G instead of hitting the 8 on the B.

You could also check out what PeteB does in his vid.
