Apologies if this topic has been explored in another thread...if so I couldn't find it.

But I'm looking for more JGB shows to add to the arsenal and thought it'd be fun to get views on the BEST shows available. Personally, I've recently been digging those Winter '80 shows...What are your top solo Jerry shows?

A couple of mine are the 11-19-1993 at Hampton with the "Shining Star". I also like the show about two years earlier at Hampton. I also just downloaded the 8/10/1985 Keystone show. I am really enjoying that one. The Wiltern show in 1988 like as well. I haven't had a chance to really dig into the earlier shows besides what is commercially available in the Pure Jerry releases but I like the 3/10/1978 from Washington. I am very particular about my set lists for JGB shows so I don't have a lot (maybe 20) but these are a few that I listen to quite often.

Hard to go wrong with just about any Feb '81 or Nov '81.

6/16/82 Music Mtn, NY is a MUST have... Glassberg's is the best one IIRC

'83-'84 has some great stuff but most of those SBDs are mains (monitor?) mixes with low levels on the guitar (not recording mixes).

5/28 -31/83 - All four shows rip, with the 31st (Roseland)and 28th (Cape Cod Coliseum, check out the Rhapsody in Red set 2 opener) being extra special.

One of my favorite shows (beside Music Mountain '82) is the Saddlerack, San Jose, CA 3-7-1982.

Also love 3/7 and 3/8/1980 from the Stone in SF.

Fall 1990 is hard to beat, but for an individual show: 2/6/81 from the Tower Theater sets a high bar
