I'm posting up a storm today. Must be the codeine cough syrup and the Sierra Nevada :-)

For months and months I've been craving a Moriarty Wolf. In December my bonus came in, the wife gave thumbs up, and I set the wheels in motion. Looks like late May/early June delivery time, but it won't be long until I have a next generation Moriarty Wolf in my possession. I'm sworn to secrecy on some of his design innovations, but I think the thing is going to look absolutely amazing. Matt, if you're reading this I sincerely hope I'm not revealing too much already (?). So, downpayment check is cashed and never have I been so happy to see an OUTGOING check get cleared!

I, for one, am happy for me....

I'm getting the late version, Super 2s and (I guess) SDS-1. Truth be told, it's the Tiger tone I dig, but the LOOK of the Wolf that's always fascinated me, so going for what's for me the best of both worlds.

So it looks like he's released the details. I'd been talking to Matt and he sent me a preview of the pics in the link below. The evidence just added up to get me to say, YES. Money is always an object, but I'm thinking of this as part art and part something I'll be able to enjoy for life!

So, I went to the gear expo yesterday and met up with Matt Moriarty--very cool guy for sure. And, yep, he had my Wolf Replica ready for me to take home!!

Once I got the inlaws out of the way last night, I spent hours playing -- then more of the same today. I'm going to eventually write some coherent praise for Matt, but right now I'm still in the throes of shock at how awesome this guitar is. For anyone out there on the fence, I suggest you (1) sell your car, (2) buy a bicycle and (3) Buy a Moriarity guitar! I can't wipe the smile off my face right now. :-)

Pix to come....
