I have been researching spray painting my guitar. I am going to use krylon color coat and deft clear coat.

Anyone have any tips on this? Should I prime the guitar before the colo coats? How long does it take for the primer to dry? Any general tips?

Thanks Alex

I would check out stew-mac for guitar specific spray paints and sights like this one and You can probably find everything you need to know in there. I almost forgot, check youtube and see if any videos come up of finishing a guitar.

Do any of you guys know where I can get Deft Lacquer in a spray can? I though it used to be sold at lowes but i cant find it, Im in atlanta GA.
I know I could get it online but i hate paying shipping for something that costs less then the shipping price?

Thanks Alex
