You were the guy who got this project started - what ? - almost two years ago !
The inspiration started at your place.

DUDE!!!

Nice guitar. I like the Buddy Ryan era (we'll forget about Rich Kotite...) eagle on the headstock.

Looking forward to hearing you play it when we jam again.

All the best my friend,

Dave

Yo Kier !
Thats funny - your comment about the grain - I just sent a note along to the builder about how I was coming around to the natural look.
When I 1st sent the beasty to Bri the guitar had the ugly DS - dark stain - and was beat to shit too.
Originally Bri was just gonna do the electronics. But the finish was so beat up he felt it needed some TLC.
Bri sanded the old finish off. I was a bit worried the quality of the wood would leave a lot to be desired grain-wise.
Now I am really glad he had the foresight to do the re-sand/finish job.
Brian is wise.
:D

You can see the original color on the horn.
Should have taken a " before " pic.

Yeah - I never liked its original color - looked like cheap 70's furniture.
And wasnt sure what we would find under it too.
