Here's my alligator, bad pic since my good camera is at my sister in laws, which means I'll get it back next year or so....
Anyway I thought I would let you guys see it...

Wow. Great job! Did you fabricate the stoptail from the brass kickplate, as well? How did you handle the tremolo cavity? Did you fill it or just cover it with
the tone wood?

You can't see but I bought a hard tail. It has a tune o matic and yes I did cut and glue the weirdest piece of wood, or rather shaped it, to fit snug and flush with the surface. I made it from some mahogany I had. I had to shim the neck a little to get the intonation set up right, but it sounds so good!! I just put an OBEL with a switch on it last night and another jack plate next to the original. I am going to play it tonight at practice to see how it does, so far it is very Jerry '72-73. Thanks....
