I'm guessing no one on this board went to any of those 4 shows this past week. Per Philzone, sounds like they were pretty sick events. Each one had a rehersal followed by a show. Lots of "new" tunes.

Despite plausible rumors that these would be warm-ups for the Obama gig at Penn State, apparently, they were warm ups for P and F's upcoming tour.

Barry Sless was there with Phil's regular line up (mostly) but no Bob Weir to be seen.....anyway, thought folks might be interested.

Of course there's a lot more info on Philzone.

Just downloaded the Sept. 24 show of Archive. Really good sounding stuff they are doing.

Actually, there was a no taping policy which prompted a few people on the PZ boards to assume he might be planning to sell some form of those shows in the future.

wow i nvr heard of phil not allowing tapers at any show ever?

That is usually the case when a band is going to officially release something or if they are filming. It is actually pretty common.
