For some reason (as if I needed one) I pulled "Birth of the
Dead" out of the shelf and stuck it in my stereo. And now
I'm sitting here wondering why there is no tab for "The
Only Time Is Now" - I love that song!

Anybody know where I can find it?

The "Beatles" phase of GD writing at its best! I've performed that one a couple of times on bass with my side band that focuses on primal Pig-era Dead. I'm so bad remembering some of that stuff though... at the moment, all I can remember is the A,E intro. Very reminiscent of Harrison's "If I Needed Someone"

a bunch of tabs are missing from this site, the dead did so many songs its diffucutly to find and tab them all. i made a topic just like this one like to months ago a know one answered it, so i just came to the conclusion the dead just were to amazing, and did so much great stuff we havnt gotten to it all yet.

Yeah, I'm starting to really dig the singing in that tune... "...of an endless sea" I love those 3rd lines of the verse.

A whole slough of those very early Warlock/Test-era tunes don't seem to show up on any of the top tab/chord sites. Off the radar scope of the majority of Deadheads!! (no polls were taken)

It's funny, because I am learning all these "older than primal" tunes as a bassist, so with very few tunes that crossover into the "mainstream" Dead lexicon, it's like a totally different musical universe for me but still Dead to the core!
