DOes anyone have a source where I can find Garcia band soundboards to download?

I havent been able to find any of the JGB. It seems like Jerry's wife has really put the lockdown on his recordings.
Yesterday I broke down and just bought one off of the pure jerry site. But it was a huge pain in the ass. It sucks when you pay for something and it is WAY harder to do than when you find it for free.
SO I won't be getting any more of those.

SOmeone has to know where to download the Garcia band from.

Most of the '82 and '83 SBDs I've gotten ahold of have been terribly unbalanced in the mix.

You need a bittorent client. I use azureus
http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Then you need to convert the shn or flac. Do a search on either of those extensions and you'll find the tool to convert them into a wav file

Best SHN conversion tool: mkwACT http://etree.org/mkw.html

Try dbpoweramp - http://www.dbpoweramp.com/. It is simpler to use and converts to many different formats using codec plugins.

Hard to imagine anything be simpler to use than mkwACT. Drag & drop, done.

dbpoweramp is fantastic and a lot more robust. can go back and forth between and number of diff file types as is, and it supports plugins for additional file types. (I have added plugins to successfully convert ape, ogg, musepack, and a few others). Great program for any serious music downloader.

It is a retail program that provides a free trial period. In order to continue after that you need to

a) pay
b) sail the high seas in a boat with a skull and crossbones

Plugins and the like are available here: http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=dbpoweramp

http://www.mininova.org/tor/1056217 appears to be the best. comes packaged with plugins, is both well seeded and well reviewed, and the trial period is already "negotiated",
