Very cool stuff, thanks for sharing. Just out of curiosity, what is the first image you posted? Is it a flyer? It kind of looks like the label to an acoustic, but Doug Irwin didn't make acoustics right?

The first pic is of our business card from 74 with the old address. It was a farm house and the shop was a chicken coop. Inside the farm house in the livingroom is were Doug and I finalized the drawings for "The Garcia".We moved later that year out to 3900 Sonoma Hwy also in Santa Rosa.
The neck assembly that Doug is holding is from a guitar I absolutely loved. It was a Pendulous guitar that had a dark chocolate brown figured western walnut top, neck, back and core were Birdseye maple. The top was 3/16 instead of a full 1/4 inch thick, so it had this inherit acoustic sound to it, She was a pretty one.

Here are two guitars that preceded my apprenticeship with Doug, Built in 73. The Rosewood was a guitar built in hopes that Jerry would purchase it. He didn't but it sparked his interest in having us create a new custom guitar for him, hence"The Garcia"

The second is a pic of a D.Irwin Les Paul.
