The dual Showman 68 w/ reverb is one of the best amps ever made as far as numbers go. Very consistent. I don't think i've really heard a bad one. Is this the reverb model, or the short head with the ab763 circuit? If its 68 it might not be a blackface. I think they stopped that model in 67'. I might be wrong though. The silverface was started in 68 though. If it is 68' then it has to be a silverface or a dual showman reverb i would think.
It can't be a Reverb-Amp if its Blackface, and it almost has to be pre-'68, unless maybe someone at Fender found a batch of BF front panels that had not been used up.
Great amp, either way... a world better than any "reissue" PCB-construct.

I can buy a '67 bandmaster blackface for $650.
Does any of you know the difference beween the circuit on this head and the showman head which is based on the twin cirsuit?
