Howdy all, I need an OBEL for a build my brother is working on but it would appear that Waldo has taken his page down. Cant say for sure but the link I used just 6 months ago no longer works. Any other recommendations?

Are you looking for a buffer, or the OBEL wiring diagram? It does look like Mike's buffer order page is down, but the Tiger and Wolf wiring diagrams are still on their pages:

The buffer is a tangible piece of gear. You have several good options, including:

Wald's unit (it does appear his Custom Shop website link at http://www.wald-electronics.com/index.html is not currently functioning)

For the OBEL, it's not a piece of gear per se (I suppose parts of it, like the extra jack you'll need, are) but a wiring design. Are you seeking a schematic like this?

Just to be clear (as Jon says above)- the buffer is a little gizmo electronic piece that gets inserted into the wiring of the guitar, the OBEL is a way of wiring the guitar. You can't really buy "an OBEL", you either have to change the wiring of the guitar or have it built that way.

OBEL= On Board Effects Loop.

As mentioned, it is only one toggle switch, one stereo jack and wiring.

Ok sorry for the confusion. I have the wiring diagram. I need the buffer. My brother does all the wiring so that explains my ignorance. Thanks for all the replies. Ill check out those other links.
