Here is the info i got from the Admin over at the Travis Bean forum.
Here is some info when it was announced from Electrical Guitar Company's FB Page a few days ago -

"This has been in the works for over 2 years now. This involes some old faces with some new ones as well as Travis Beans wife Rita. The design Travis came up with in 1997, never really saw they light of day and now it will, as it deserves to.

The 500MM, 1000S, 1000A, 2000, 3000 and 4000 models will be available. All with the one pc neck and body "pan" design."

So Bean is back, but continuing off where Travis stopped in the 90s with his new design. That company was with his wife Rita back in those days as well. The 'pan' is really cool design using a thinner/lighter aluminum (T7075) instead of the T6061 used in the vintage Beans.

No idea on pricing. No idea when people will be able to purchase.

More information can be found on the Facebook page:

Does the 500 come with a middle single coil?

I don't know, Mike ... he would only say it's "a ways off" from being available. If anyone wants a 1000 ... I'm considering carrying them, and, of course, can order righties as well as lefties.

That price is freakin' painful. Vintage TB's eBay for less than that…as I'm sure most of you know.

I do want me a TB500 real bad, however.

Ironically for me, the first TB I ever played belonged to my guitar player when I lived in Pensacola in the 80s, I even recorded an album borrowing it. That the company is based there is kind of bizarre to me, but hey, you gotta live somewhere.

I have seen some new aluminum body/neck guitars and even parts (necks e.g.) listed on ebay in recent months. I don't recall specifically but I think they were coming from Florida and the name sounds familiar. I recall they were quite pricey too.
