I just visited waldo's site to check out the preamp mods that were posted there, and it appears they're gone now! is there a reason for that? or does anyone have them saved?
Waldo took his personal research down. If the information is taken from actual GD equipment it's still up. If it was based on his personal work or info he gleaned from talking to folks in-the-know...it's down. Unfortunately, it appears to me that much of that information was taken as an entitlement by some.
I don't mean to imply that this actually is Waldo's take on the matter either. It is not my intent to put words in his mouth, or quote him out of context. It is only my personal impression of what has transpired.
I hope for my own sake, and for the sake of others, that we see this stuff again.
