Very excited to be joining Joan Osborne for her 1st Dead Set broadcast this Tuesday 7/23 on Stageit. Please join us for this cool event! I'll be playing some guitar, pedal steel and vocals. Haven't gotten to play with Joan since the early 90's when she first got to NYC. Gonna be great to do some cool Dead tunes with her after so many years. http://www.stageit.com/joan_osborne/joa ... ol_1/25973

On 7/25 while riding my bicycle on Ocean Ave in Belmar NJ, a car that was dbl parked on the right side of the road suddenly made a u-turn as I was riding by to pass. I hit her door, basically at full speed, as there was no blinker or indication she was turning. I spent the weekend in the hospital with 4 broken ribs, broken clavicle in 2 places, collapsed lung and damage to my vocal chords. Suck! Anyway, recuperating and not "Dead" yet! However, I felt it best to move our upcoming 9/7 Bearsville show to Saturday 11/2. We'll present our big Halloween Double Drumming Dance Party show, music from the 60's and 2nd set with Blues For Allah and beyond. This show debuts at the Basie in Red Bank Friday 11/1 so we'll be nice and warmed up for a great show in Woodstock! Thanks for your support. Tell a friend! 9/21/13 SELLERSVILLE BEST OF 70-74 IS ON!! This is our 3rd trip back since Tennessee Jedi hipped us to this cool venue. Hope to see some PA friends.

One of my fav bands .....
The show was real nice - highlights for me were Pig In A Poke w/Marc on banjo ; the album version of Dire Wolf w/the full pedal steel treatment ; a smoking Pride Of Cucamunga .....
They pretty much own that E 72 sound .... the China Rider was spot on.
They had a guy playing fiddle - doing the Vassar Clemons thing on the Wake of The Flood stuff .....
The bass guy is just flat out wailing with that early 70's Phil Zone tone ..... what a player
The guy who covers the Bob stuff is fantastic - all vintage Bob tones and has a great voice ....
Sent us home with a Russian Lullaby encore
Check them out if ye get the chance
:-)

Hey thanks! Just finished a compilation of our Anthem of the Sun/Bear's Choice set from last Halloween. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQexkvNhgUs

Looking to expand our circle of around 4 - 5 hour drives from NJ and would love to head out that way. Always fingers crossed in getting people out to come out when in a new area. Indeed, DSO corners the market. We press on regardless though.

Thanks for checking us out and tell a friend.
